Despite Approval Polls Congress Remains Uppity.

Despite All Approval Polls United States Congress Remains Uppity.  You would think as low as their approval rating is they’d be concerned, possibly a little vexed.  But no, not Congress.  They are really acting like a true Oligarchy of Noble blood and the opinion of the peasantry is of no consequence.  As irritating as that is to us peasants (if you’re not a millionaire or lawyer, you’re a peasant), the more I think about it they may truly be right in their thinking.  Perhaps we ARE of no consequence.  I mean I know that we ARE trying to make them listen, to make changes to the system, but in the end are we ACTUALLY making results or we just patted on the head by our elected officials while they go and do what THEY see as “best for us”, although it seems in their mind “what’s best for us” is in reality “what’s best for THEIR pocketbooks.”

Despite All Approval Polls United States Congress Remains Uppity.

  • Despite recent polls which indicate most Americans trust the terrorist organization Al Qaeda slightly more than Congress, the publicly elected officials remain unconcerned.  Speaker Boehner is assumed to have remarked, "The common rabble needs to know it's place!  Tea Party? This ain't England, we drink COFFEE in America.  When they form up some Coffee Party maybe I'll pay attention.  MAYBE."
  • And apparently the Senate is just as confident, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid felt like commenting, "The general peasantry can't understand the complexity of Congress.  There are Ayes and Nays, that's too complex a decision for them to understand.  They need to stick to simpler decisions for their Commoner brain cells like 'do I order the combo meal in picture #1 or the combo meal in picture #4?'  Best to leave the tough 'yes and no' decisions to their 'Betters'."

  • Congress:  BOW DOWN!  PEASANTRY OF AMERICA!  BOW DOWN OR WE WILL BOW YOU DOWN SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW YOUR PROPER PLACE!
