You’ve got to hand it to President Obama, the Euthanasia Panel part of ObamaCare really does solve all the problems he said he would address but hasn’t gotten around to yet.  If the citizen is on Medicaid then the government and society has already taken the majority of their assests, and if they’re on Unemployment or Social Security then they’re not contributing anymore and simply “wasting” the community’s resources as President Obama said, so it “kills two birds with one stone.”  A little more ruthless than I care for, but President Obama has already has his Nobel Peace Prize, he just has to earn his place in infamy.

Yesterday the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS, not to be confused with The Scots as we’ve made the mistake of thinking Scotland was trying to dictate laws to us one too many times already) decided that Congress DOES NOT have the authority to make American Citizens buy things under the Commerce Clause of their empowerment.  However, the Supreme Court did rule that Congress has the right and authority to make the American Citizens buy crap under their Taxation Powers.  So, if Congress decides they want Americans to buy something they just have to call it tax.  Need to stimulate the candy industry, “all Americans must buy one candy bar per week or pay a $5 fine for each week they fail to do so.”  Need to increase the profitability of  the now partially Government owned auto industry, “all American citizens must buy a new car every 4 years or pay a $2000 a year fine for noncompliance.”   Write a crappy book, “all Americans must buy a copy of President Obama’s ‘Socialization for Dummies’ or pay a $500 fine for noncompliance.”  Welcome to America, buy something or we’ll fine the dickens out of you.

Stockton, CA is set to declare bankruptcy, it has over $700 million in debt. And a population of roughly 300,000. Wow, talk about entitlements out of control.  You can read more on Stockton’s pending bankruptcy crisis and how they got into the fiscal hole here.

Shortly before President Obama addressed a gathering of Latino officials, whose support he is actively seeking, the guests were told to finish their meals.   ”It’s very important that you use your utensils as soon as possible,” Raquel Regalado told the Florida crowd.   It turns out that the Secret Service currently allows NO silverware or sharp, pointy objects in the room with President Obama.  While speculation and debate over whether this is due to him being a vampire of simply full of hot air, no one is completely sure.

President Obama is apparently the head of the He-man Congress Hater’s Club.  So, he’d be Spanky.  Would that make Holder Alfalfa or Buckwheat?  Of course today’s episode is in relation to the Obama Administration attempting to use Executive Privilege to withhold information from Committee investigating the Fast and Furious operation and Attorney General Eric Holder’s knowledge of it.  It’s an election year, and the ALWAYS find something to bring up, because there’s always LOTS of thing that can be brought up.  Do officials like, cheat, steal, and cause actions leading to the death of others?  Everyday, election year or not.  Just on some days, they get off their arses and do something, not often, but occasionally.

Seriously.  $19 million a year just to make up numbers to assign government contractors according to the article on FOX News.  Access could to that with some scripts.  I’m sure they have to double check against the database to insure there isn’t a number for the contractor already.  Be nice if they ALSO checked to see if it was the SAME company just rebranding itself to bid again after it had got in trouble for something.  THAT happens a lot.  Still the waste and fraud is rampant.  The agency responsible for checking for that is undermanned and the contractors know it.

CNN’s Erin Burnett ((she’s smart and she’s sexy) interviewed former partner Goldman Sachs , Peter Kiernan who continuously shared his concerns about China replacing the U.S. as the world’s top economy and continued to call the United States, “China’s Bitch”.  All throughout the interview CNN kept rolling in their Headline feed, “United States: China’s Bitch” and at one point had an image of the United States on the screen with just the words, “China’s bitch.”   So, historically,  March 8, 2012 is the date CNN officially declared the United States to be China’s bitch.  I understand the concerns of a former Goldman Sachs executive with the United States become China’s bitch.  Our government, Congressmen, and Presidents have traditionally been Goldman Sachs’ bitch.  With 2012 they can reinforce that status having been one of the largest donors to both President Obama and Mittens Romney.

Not to be taken seriously, it’s a political comic commentary.  But, still.  Given Rand’s personality and his eagerness to push back harder than he’s pushed you have to wonder if he’s snapped at some point with all the backlash his politcal maneuvering to endorse Mitt “Mittens” Romney and his bid for the Republican Pary nomination for President.  All fair in love and politics.  Well, actually I don’t think ANYTHING is fair, it’s just all allowed.

America’s Likelihood of Pulling an Iceland.  With every penny borrowed the likelihood of America doing the same as Iceland becomes increasing better.  Over 15 trillion dollars in debt.  How long is it going to take to pay that back?  Think about it.  Our government CAN’T EVEN SHOW THE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BREAK EVEN and at some point they’ll have to budget BELOW REVENUE?  If we ARE going to have to pull an Iceland, why put off the inevitable.  Think about it.  The world economy is in the crapper already.  The banks are already failing.  If you let it drop now you’re in a situation that best mitigates the damage.  We’ve already had the Nation’s credit rating downgraded.  I would much prefer FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY but it’s becoming increasingly obvious THAT isn’t going to happen with the current United States political system.
